Foundry Bean Shipping module increases efficiency of the shipping process by automating picking , packing and shipment from sales order.

 
 
 
 

Picking

Picking is used to pick the material from inventory for shipping to customer. Order Picking lines are automatically created from sales order lines. Foundry Bean shipping allows you find the item in different locations and check on-hand quantity before shipment. You can remove or update item quantity if it is not available. Once picked, material is transferred to staging and inventory balance is reduced in inventory store. Inventory is reserved for the picking batch and sales order.

Packing

Once items are pick released, system automatically creates one packing batch. Packing is used to put the items in box to create delivery. if all the items are not packed in a box, another pallet or box is created for the remaining items. You can specify how many products you want to put into each carton or box.

Shipping

Once packing is complete, system automatically creates one shipment. During shipping, freight carriers are defaulted from sales order if available. Otherwise, you can choose shipping methods and carriers for the shipping label. Pallet/box Weight, tracking number etc. can be entered during shipping.

Confirm Shipment

Once the items are delivered to ship carrier, shipment needs to be confirmed to release the inventory and create invoice. Ship confirmation update the shipping quantity for each order line.
